How did we learn about this?
We read the true story "A Long Walk to Water". It is a story about Salva and his adventure to give water to Southern Sudan.
Water For South Sudan
Water For South Sudan is an orginaztion created by Salva Dut. Water For South Sudan was created to give water to Southern Sudan villages. Salva wishes to end poverty with his organization. He plans to keep wells in buisiness by teaching the villagers how to run the wells.
Who are we?
We are 6th graders at Tidwell Middle School. We are trying to raise at least $1,000 for the Iron Giraffe Challenge. The Iron Giraffe Challenge is a challnge created by Water for South Sudan to raise money to build more water wells.
